The New Healthy Sandwich Join me on my journey to add more healthy fruits and vegetables into my body. I tried a new sandwich with some easy ingredients to substitute the boring old turkey and cheese sandwich. Ingredients: Two Slices of rye bread Sliced tomato Red pepper hummus Sliced avocado (or mashed) Mircrogreens (bean sprouts would work) Bell pepper (any color) Sriracha sauce **Layer all of the ingredients and enjoy! I promise.. you won’t miss out on taste!
Easy Creamy Goodness Oatmeal
This year, I am focused on adding more plant-based meals to my daily routine. Inspired to try more plant-based meals by Rip Esselstyn Delicious and Easy Oatmeal Recipe for those cold winter mornings. 1/2 cup steel-cut oatmeal 1 cup almond milk (plant-based milk of your choosing) 1/2 cup ripe blueberries or more if you desire pinch of sea salt Medium heat for a few minutes. Take it off the heat and let it soak up all that blueberry goodness. I topped mine with some Bob’s Red Mill Granola (maple), chia seeds, and honey(you can do agave too) Delicioso!!! Quickest healthy morning option!
